NHS Ealing – Designing Assessment Centres to Identify and Develop Future Leaders

At NHS Ealing, I designed and delivered a comprehensive assessment centre process to support the identification and development of future leaders within the organisation. The aim was to create a fair, evidence-based approach to evaluating capability, potential, and readiness for progression.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, I developed behavioural frameworks, competency-based exercises, and feedback tools that aligned with both NHS leadership values and the specific needs of the local trust. I also trained internal assessors and facilitated sessions to ensure consistency and rigour throughout the process.

The result was a more transparent and reliable system for leadership selection and development, improving confidence in internal promotions and helping the organisation invest in its highest-potential talent.

This project reflects my strength in combining psychological rigour with practical delivery to create assessment and development solutions that build leadership capability at every level.
